About

You don't need a big budget to create something incredible.

For the solopreneur whose work is great, but whose website doesn't show it yet. We make it match.

If this sounds like you

You're great at what you do. Your website should show that too.

You know what you're worth

But your current site is making people doubt it before they ever talk to you.

You can see what good looks like

You just can't justify $10k to an agency right now, and DIY templates feel like a downgrade.

You've tried the shortcuts

Wix, Squarespace, "AI website builders." They got you online. They didn't get you noticed.

Madeline Merced, founder of Show Up Online
Hi, I'm Madeline

I've been where you are.

As a first-gen kid raised by a single mom in government housing, I learned one lesson fast: if you can't afford it, you make it yourself. So I taught myself code. I taught myself design. I built every site I ever needed - then helped other women do the same.

Now I run Show Up Online from that same belief. You shouldn't need a $15k agency invoice to look like you take yourself seriously. You just need someone who knows what they're doing in your corner.

Building Online
How I got here

The short version - in three moments

Madeline's early YouTube show
01
2008

I launched a show on YouTube before "influencer" was a job

"Martha Stewart for young women" - showing that you don't need a lot to live beautifully. It got featured in The New York Times, Glamour, and on The Rachael Ray Show.

The Pivot

I couldn't afford a developer, so I became one

The show's website was rustic, to put it kindly. I taught myself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through late nights and trial and error - then earned my BS in Software Development. Eventually I climbed to VP at start up tech company.

The Why

I built this for the women I grew up with

The ones with the vision, the talent, and the work ethic - but not the corporate budget. If you give a woman the right tools, she can build anything. Show Up Online is the toolbox I wish I'd had.

I know what it feels like to know you're good at what you do - and watch your online presence tell a completely different story.
Our Promise

High-end work. Without the high-end invoice.

You have the vision. We have the tech, the design eye, and the patience to make it real. Whether you need a custom build, a template you can ship in a weekend, or the small tools that turn visitors into customers - we've got something for where you are right now.

Our Foundation

Every product is named after a saint

Our Catholic faith isn't just part of who we are - it's the foundation of everything we build. Every product at Show Up Online is named for a saint who either inspires its design or serves as the patron of the people it was made for.

From The St. Carlo (patron of the internet) to The St. Thérèse (the Little Flower) - each name carries a story, a purpose, and a prayer for whoever uses it.
